 Ayhan Taşkıran, born in 1968 in Çanakkale, Turkey, is a painter and ceramic artist known for his emotionally rich, figurative works. He graduated from Anadolu University’s Faculty of Fine Arts (Ceramics) in 1993 and earned his master’s degree in 1996 with a thesis on the relationship between ceramics and painting.

Taşkıran has exhibited widely in solo and group shows both in Turkey and abroad, earning recognition such as the Success Prize at the 1998 State Painting and Sculpture Competition. His art often depicts the human figure as a “time traveler,” exploring emotional depth through mixed techniques that use color and space to convey different feelings.

Blending traditional Turkish motifs with contemporary styles, Taşkıran has built a strong presence in the national and international art scene. He continues to live and work in Turkey, contributing actively to contemporary art through his exhibitions, teaching, and creative projects.

 Erhan Lanpir, born in 1979 in Bilecik, Turkey, is a contemporary Turkish painter known for his vibrant figurative works featuring whimsical characters and animals. He studied at Eskişehir Anadolu Fine Arts High School and earned his degree from Anadolu University's Faculty of Education, Department of Painting. He is currently pursuing graduate studies in painting at the same university.

Lanpir has exhibited widely in Turkey and abroad, with international showcases at venues like the Amadé Bajzáth Pappenheim Castle in Hungary and the Danville Museum of Fine Arts and History in the USA. In Turkey, his work has appeared in major galleries such as Özdilek Art Center, Galeri Soyut, and Ziraat Bank Tunnel Art Gallery. He has also participated in art fairs and workshops, including CI Bloom by Contemporary Istanbul.

Blending figurative elements with surrealism, Lanpir’s style features imaginative subjects and bold colors. His artworks are available on platforms like Artsper and Lovinart. Based in Eskişehir, he remains an active figure in the contemporary art scene through ongoing exhibitions and creative projects.

Raşit Altun is a contemporary Turkish painter and sculptor born in 1980 in İzmir, Turkey. He graduated from Anadolu University’s Faculty of Education, Department of Visual Arts in 2001. Since then, he has actively participated in both national and international art scenes, holding several solo exhibitions and contributing to numerous group shows and symposiums.

Altun's artistic work often delves into existential themes, exploring concepts such as memory, silence, and depth. His notable series, including Mahşer and Araf, reflect these introspective themes. In 2022, he presented a new series titled SIR at the Atatürk Cultural Center in Istanbul, featuring fifty paintings and four sculptures. This exhibition incorporated immersive projection mapping technology, offering viewers a unique visual experience. 

Throughout his career, Altun has received multiple awards, such as the Main Award at the 2010 Yunus Emre Painting Competition and the Hürriyet Newspaper Prize at the 2008 Turgut Pura Sculpture Competition. His works have been exhibited internationally, including at the Louvre SNBA Carousel Salon in Paris, the Torun Museum in Poland, and the Miami Art Expo in the USA. Altun continues to create and develop his art in his personal studio located in Eskişehir, Turkey

His paintings are characterized by vivid colors, intricate patterns, and dreamlike compositions that often depict scenes from Turkish village life, mythology, and everyday traditions. He was also an educator, teaching art perspective classes at institutions such as Bilkent University and Hacettepe University. Gürkan Coşkun, widely known by his pseudonym Komet, was a seminal figure in Turkish contemporary art, celebrated for his surreal, poetic, and socially reflective works. Born in 1941 in Çorum, Turkey, he studied at the Istanbul State Academy of Fine Arts from 1960 to 1967, working under esteemed artists such as Halil Dikmen and Zeki Faik İzer. In 1971, he received a state scholarship to study in Paris, a city that profoundly influenced his artistic trajectory.

Komet's art is characterized by its fusion of dreamlike imagery with incisive social commentary. His paintings often depict fantastical scenes that blur the lines between reality and imagination, inviting viewers into introspective and metaphysical realms. Beyond painting, he was also a poet and performer, integrating various art forms to express complex emotional and philosophical themes.

Throughout his career, Komet exhibited extensively in Turkey and internationally, with his works featured in prominent institutions like Istanbul Modern and Odunpazarı Modern Museum. His unique style and contributions to art have left an indelible mark on the Turkish art scene. Komet passed away in 2022 in Istanbul, but his legacy endures through his evocative and thought-provoking body of work.

Ergin Inan

 Ergin İnan, born in 1943 in Malatya, Turkey, is a leading figure in contemporary Turkish art, known for his unique blend of spirituality, nature, and symbolism. His work bridges Eastern and Western artistic traditions, creating culturally and temporally transcendent pieces.

Originally enrolled at Istanbul University’s Faculty of Law in 1963, İnan shifted to the arts, studying at the Istanbul State Academy of Applied Fine Arts from 1964 to 1968 under Karl Schlamminger and Helmut Hungerberg. He later attended the Salzburg Summer Academy in 1969 with Emilio Vedova and continued his studies in Germany (1971–1973) under Rudi Tröger and Mac Zimmermann. He returned to Turkey to pursue an academic career, eventually becoming a professor at Marmara University’s Faculty of Fine Arts.

İnan’s intricate works often feature insects, human figures, and calligraphic elements. His “Amos” series, for example, explores the relationship between light, color, nature, and humanity, using diverse techniques to express symbolic meaning.

He has exhibited widely in Turkey and abroad, and his work is held in numerous public and private collections. Recognized with multiple awards, Ergin İnan continues to live and work in Istanbul, maintaining a strong presence in the contemporary art scene.
